- Initiative summary:
- The objective of this proposal is to align Council Directive 92/66/EEC laying down measures to be applied in the event of an outbreak of Newcastle disease in poultry and in certain birds to the Treaty on the functioning of the European Union and to bring the Directive in line with the rules on Regulation (EU) 2017/625 on Official Controls as regards the designation of EU Reference Laboratories.
