Justification: Indicate why a State aid scheme has been established instead of assistance under the European Fisheries Fund
EFF resources are insufficient to support all common/collective regional fisheries projects; therefore, in view of the relevance of the project in question, the regional government has decided to increase the funding available.
Furthermore, the measure taken by the regional government includes ad hoc aid for the San Vito Fisheries Cooperative, an association comprising most of the fishermen in the municipality of Marano Lagunare, with over 150 members.
