Date, entry into force and nature of the decision |
On 12 July 2010, the Malta Financial Services Authority (‘the MFSA’) revoked the authorisation of European Insurance Group Ltd. The insurance company has appealed from the decision of the Authority. The MFSA, with effect from 6 August 2010, appointed Deloitte, Certified Public Accountants, of Deloitte Place Mriehel Bypass Mriehel BKR 3000 Malta, to take charge of the assets of the company and to assume control of its business. The MFSA has, with effect from 29 September 2011, appointed a liquidator for the purpose of winding-up the affairs of the company. |
