Objective of aid

The purpose of the scheme is to:

—

provide veterinary assistance to poultry farmers and disseminate knowhow,

—

advise and assist Det Danske Fjerkræraad (the Danish Poultry Council) and other sectoral organisations on the veterinary situation in the poultry sector,

—

diagnose diseases and give advice on the treatment and prevention of poultry diseases,

—

disseminate and acquire the latest veterinary knowledge about poultry production.

The final beneficiaries are farmers engaged in poultry production. The scheme applies only to small and medium-sized enterprises.

The scheme comes under Article 15(2)(c). It concerns consultancy services
