Notice concerning the anti-dumping measures in force in respect of imports into the Community of certain stainless steel fasteners and parts thereof originating, inter alia, in Thailand: Change of the name of a company subject to an individual anti-dumping duty rate

Imports of certain stainless steel fasteners and parts thereof originating, inter alia, in Thailand are subject to definitive anti-dumping duties imposed by Council Regulation (EC) No 1890/2005 (1).

Siam Screws (1994) Co. Ltd, a company located in Thailand, whose exports to the Community of certain stainless steel fasteners and parts thereof are subject to an individual anti-dumping duty rate of 11,0 % by the aforementioned Regulation, has informed the Commission that on 19 September 2005 it changed its name into TPC Stainless & Steel Fasteners Co., Ltd.

The company has argued that the change of name does not affect the right of the company to benefit from the individual duty rate applied to the company under its previous name of Siam Screws (1994) Co., Ltd.

The Commission has examined the information supplied and concluded that the change of name in no way affects the findings of Council Regulation (EC) No 1890/2005. Therefore, the reference to Siam Screws (1994) Co. Ltd should be read as TPC Stainless & Steel Fasteners Co. Ltd in Article 1(3) of Council Regulation (EC) No 1890/2005.

The Taric additional code A661 previously attributed to Siam Screws (1994) Co. Ltd. shall apply to TPC Stainless & Steel Fasteners Co. Ltd.
