Withdrawal of notification of a concentration

On 2 February 2005, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which Ericsson Telecomunicazioni S.p.A, and Ericsson Network Services Italia S.p.A. (both ‘Ericsson’, Italy), controlled by the group Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (‘Gruppo Ericsson’, Sweden) acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Council Regulation control of parts of H3G S.p.A. (‘H3G’, Italy) by way of rental of assets.
On 1 March 2005, the notifying parties informed the Commission that they withdrew their notification.
