DECISION OF THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE MEMBER STATES, MEETING WITHIN THE COUNCIL,
of 30 November 2006
adapting Decision 96/409/CFSP on the establishment of an emergency travel document, in order to take account of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union

THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE MEMBER STATES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, MEETING WITHIN THE COUNCIL,
Whereas:
It is necessary to make certain adaptations to Decision 96/409/CFSP (1), in order to take account of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union,
HAVE DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1
Decision 96/409/CFSP shall be amended as follows:

(a) |
the following shall be added to Annex I after ‘PRÍLOHA I’: ‘— ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ 1 — ANEXA I’; |
|
(b) |
the following shall be added to Annex I after ‘EURÓPSKA ÚNIA’: ‘, ЕВРОПЕЙСКИ СЪЮЗ, UNIUNEA EUROPEANĂ’; |
|
(c) |
the following shall be added to Annex I after ‘CESTOVNÝ PREUKAZ’: ‘, ВРЕМЕНЕН ПАСПОРТ ЗА ЗАВРЪЩАНЕ В РЕПУБЛИКА БЪЛГАРИЯ, DOCUMENT DE CĂLĂTORIE PROVIZORIU’; |

(d) |
the following shall be added to Annex I after ‘ÚDAJE’: ‘ЗАДЪЛЖИТЕЛНИ ДАННИ/GLOSAR’; |
|
(e) |

in Annex III, paragraph 3, the list appearing after the words ‘as follows’ is replaced by the following:

Article 2
This Decision shall enter into force subject to and on the date of entry into force of the Treaty concerning the accession of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union.
Article 3
This Decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
