COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2021/797

of 8 March 2021

correcting certain language versions of Annex II and Annex VI to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, amending and repealing Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC, and amending Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (1), and in particular Article 53(1) thereof,

Whereas:

The Danish, French, German, Italian and Polish language versions of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 contain an error in the introductory sentence of the second paragraph of section 2.12 of Part 2 of Annex II as regards the scope of the labelling obligation for solid mixtures containing titanium dioxide.

(2)

The Czech language version of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 contains additional errors in section 2.12 of Part 2 of Annex II as regards the labelling obligation for mixtures containing titanium dioxide.

(3)

The Italian language version of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 contains an error in note 10 of section 1.1.3.2 of Part 1 of Annex VI as regards the hazard classification of mixtures containing titanium dioxide.

(4)

The Czech, Danish, French, German, Italian and Polish language versions of Annex II and the Italian language version of Annex VI to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

(does not concern the English version)

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
