DURCHFÜHRUNGSVERORDNUNG (EU) Nr. 789/2013 DER KOMMISSION
vom 16. August 2013
zur Änderung der Verordnung des Rates (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 zur Umsetzung des Zertifikationssystems des Kimberley-Prozesses für den internationalen Handel mit Rohdiamanten
DIE EUROPÄISCHE KOMMISSION —
gestützt auf den Vertrag über die Arbeitsweise der Europäischen Union,
gestützt auf die Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 des Rates vom 20. Dezember 2002 zur Umsetzung des Zertifikationssystems des Kimberley-Prozesses für den internationalen Handel mit Rohdiamanten (1), insbesondere auf Artikel 19 Absatz 6 und Artikel 20,
in Erwägung nachstehender Gründe:

Nach vorläufiger Billigung auf der Plenartagung in Washington im November 2012 genehmigten die Teilnehmer des Kimberley-Prozesses durch Beschluss des Plenums die Aufnahme von Panama, Kambodscha und Kasachstan in das Verzeichnis der Teilnehmer. |

Wie durch einen Vermerk des Vorsitzes des Kimberley-Prozesses vom 1. August 2013 bestätigt, genehmigten die Teilnehmer des Kimberley-Prozesses im schriftlichen Verfahren außerdem die Aufnahme von Mali in das Verzeichnis der Teilnehmer. |

Darüber hinaus sollten die Anschriften der Kontaktstellen mehrerer Teilnehmer in Anhang II aktualisiert werden. |

(4) |
Anhang II der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 sollte entsprechend geändert werden. |

(5) |
Die in dieser Verordnung vorgesehenen Maßnahmen entsprechen der Stellungnahme des in Artikel 22 der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 genannten Ausschusses — |
HAT FOLGENDE VERORDNUNG ERLASSEN:
Artikel 1
Die Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 wird wie folgt geändert:
Anhang II erhält die Fassung des Anhangs der vorliegenden Verordnung.
Artikel 2
Diese Verordnung tritt am Tag nach ihrer Veröffentlichung im Amtsblatt der Europäischen Union in Kraft.
Diese Verordnung ist in allen ihren Teilen verbindlich und gilt unmittelbar in jedem Mitgliedstaat.
