REACH – Córas comhtháite um shubstaintí ceimiceacha a chlárú, a luacháil, a údarú is a shrianadh
Tá rialacha nua an AE i gcomhair thionscal na gceimiceán -- an pacáiste REACH -- leagtha síos chun ár sláinte a fheabhsú agus an comhshaol a chosaint.
Iallach ar chuideachtaí clárú agus eolas faoi na ceimiceáin a úsáideann siad a sholáthar, ba cheart go gcuirfeadh sé ar chumas na n-údarás poiblí a airíonna a aithint níos tapúla agus go cruinn.
Tá na rialacha nua dian go háirithe ar tháirgí tocsaineacha, is spreagfaidh siad tionscal na gceimiceán Eorpach chun substaintí nua a fhorbairt ar lúide a ndochar do dhaoine agus don chomhshaol.
Mar thoradh air sin, ba chóir go bhfaigheadh an earnáil féin áit chun tosaigh sna teicneolaíochtaí nuálacha, inbhuanaithe freisin.
