How to create links to documents on EUR-Lex

1. General guidelines

You are welcome to create links to the EUR-Lex website, on the condition that the EUR-Lex logo is not used without the prior consent of the Publications Office.

Please consult the copyright notice for further information.

We strongly advise against establishing links directly to OJ issues or specific acts by means of the URLs of the files concerned. The syntax specified below is recommended for accessing the URI of the site’s server.

To help you establish links to issues of the OJ published after 1 January 1998, to COM documents, the interinstitutional procedures, consolidation files etc., we have set up a URI server which allows you to create logical links without requiring detailed knowledge of the structure of the EUR-Lex site.
