Directory of Community legislation in preparation
EUR-Lex now offers access to a "Directory of Community legislation in preparation".
This monthly directory is the result of an extraction of the database dated 1st day of the month. It will be published from now on the 15th of each month.
The directory is organised according to the 20 chapters of the "Directory of the Community legislation in force". Inside those chapters, you have access to
- the legislative proposals;
- the related preparatory acts in the database, i.e. the preparatory acts produced in the context of the legislative procedure initiated by the original proposition;
- the legislative acts in force concerned, i.e. the ones which the preparatory act proposes to amend.

You can access this new Directory through the page "Preparatory acts" [Collections / Preparatory acts].
Improved browsing features for accessing the Official Journal of the European Union
The browsing features providing for access to the Official Journal of the European Union have been improved.
A hyperlink is now displayed even if an issue does not exist in a given language. In this case, a new page opens with a message stating that the issue in question is not available in the language requested. The available language versions are displayed.
Example: OJ L296 published on November 5, 2008 and not available in Irish (GA)
This new screen will make it easier for the user to choose a different language in which the Official Journal is available.
