The Directory of European Union Consolidated Legislation, which is organised by thematic chapter, presents the last consolidated version of an act (or the basic act if never amended) and the latest modifiers (if not yet integrated into a consolidated text).
In general, regulations, directives and decisions are consolidated. Some acts are however excluded from the consolidation process, these are marked in the Directory by an asterisk (*). For more information, please consult our FAQs on consolidation.
The Directory of European Union Consolidated Legislation is still in an experimental phase. This means that some references may be missing, in particular those concerning modifications published after the last consolidated version. For complete and up-to-date information, always check the bibliographic notice of the basic act on EUR-Lex.
