Newsletter 24/06/2005
The month of May saw the installation of a new version of EUR-Lex which included a number of new features and corrections. However this installation did lead to a certain instability over the last few weeks for which we apologise.
Among the new features introduced are:
Easier access to consolidated legislation: the successive consolidated versions of a text can now be retrieved from the bibliographic notice.
Official Journal in the ‘new’ languages: OJ L 236 and OJ C 227E of 23 September 2003 which contain documents concerning the accession of the nine new Member States are available in all languages in EUR-Lex.
Search by CELEX number: to increase clarity the system offers by default the basic acts and its corrigenda. Moreover, it is possible to use parentheses, slashes or corrigenda references to search for precise documents with more complex numbers.
Links to the bibliographic notice: it is now possible to establish links directly to the bibliographic notice of a document. Please see the instructions at http://eur-lex.europa.eu/da/tools/help_syntax.htm#6.
Coming soon in EUR-Lex:
- National implementing measures: references to the national measures for the transposition of Community directives will soon be available.
