THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,

Tendo em conta o Tratado que institui a Comunidade Europeia,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 of 11 July 2006 laying down general provisions for the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and the Cohesion Fund and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1260/1999 [1], and in particular Article 18(2) thereof,

Tendo em conta o Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006 do Conselho, de 11 de Julho de 2006, que estabelece disposições gerais sobre o Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional, o Fundo Social Europeu e o Fundo de Coesão, e que revoga o Regulamento (CE) n.o 1260/1999 [1], nomeadamente o n.o 2 do artigo 18.o,

Whereas:

Considerando o seguinte:

(1) Pursuant to point (b) of Article 3(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006, the Regional competitiveness and employment objective aims at strengthening the competitiveness and attractiveness of regions.

(1) Nos termos da alínea b) do n.o 2 do artigo 3.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006, o Objectivo da Competitividade Regional e do Emprego destina-se a reforçar a competitividade e a capacidade de atracção das regiões.

(2) Pursuant to point (b) of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006, the European Regional Development Fund and the European Social Fund contribute towards achieving the objectives referred to in point (b) of Article 3(2) of that Regulation. Pursuant to Article 4(2), the Cohesion Fund also intervenes in those regions not eligible for support under the Convergence objective which belong to Member States eligible for support under that Fund.

(2) Nos termos da alínea b) do n.o 1 do artigo 4.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006, o Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional e o Fundo Social Europeu contribuem para alcançar os objectivos a que se refere a alínea b) do n.o 2 do artigo 3.o do mesmo regulamento. Nos termos do n.o 2 do artigo 4.o, o Fundo de Coesão intervém também nas regiões não elegíveis para apoio, a título do Objectivo da Convergência, que pertençam a Estados-Membros elegíveis para apoio ao abrigo desse fundo.

(3) Pursuant to Article 20 of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006, 15,95 % of the resources available for commitment from the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and the Cohesion Fund (hereinafter the Funds) for the period 2007 to 2013 are to be allocated to the Regional competitiveness and employment objective, including 21,14 % for the transitional and specific support referred to in Article 8(2) of that Regulation.

(3) Nos termos do artigo 20.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006, 15,95 % dos recursos disponíveis para dotações do Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional, do Fundo Social Europeu e do Fundo de Coesão (a seguir denominados "os Fundos"), para o período de 2007-2013, devem ser afectados ao Objectivo da Competitividade Regional e do Emprego, incluindo 21,14 % para o apoio transitório e específico a que se refere o n.o 2 do artigo 8.o do mesmo regulamento.

(4) It is necessary to make indicative breakdowns by Member States of the resources to be allocated to the Regional competitiveness and employment objective. Pursuant to Article 18(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006, this should be done in accordance with the criteria and methodology set out in Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006.

(4) É necessário estabelecer repartições indicativas, por Estado-Membro, dos recursos a afectar ao Objectivo da Competitividade Regional e do Emprego. Nos termos do n.o 2 do artigo 18.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006, essas repartições indicativas devem ser feitas em conformidade com os critérios e métodos definidos no anexo II do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006.

(5) The fourth point of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 establishes the method for allocating available resources to the Member States and regions eligible for funding pursuant to Article 6 of that Regulation.

(5) O ponto 4 do anexo II do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006 estabelece o método de afectação dos recursos disponíveis para os Estados-Membros e regiões elegíveis para financiamento nos termos do artigo 6.o do mesmo regulamento.

(6) Point 6(b) of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 establishes the method for determining the allocations under the transitional supports referred to in Article 8(2) of that Regulation.

(6) A alínea b) do ponto 6 do anexo II do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006 estabelece o método de afectação das dotações a título do apoio transitório a que se refere o n.o 2 do artigo 8.o do mesmo regulamento.

(7) Point 7 of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 determines the maximum level of transfer from the Funds to each individual Member State.

(7) O ponto 7 do anexo II do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006 determina o limite máximo relativo às transferências dos fundos para cada Estado-Membro.

(8) Points 12 to 31 of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 fix the amounts pertaining to certain specific cases for the period 2007 to 2013.

(8) Os pontos 12 a 31 do anexo II do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006 fixam os montantes relativos a certos casos específicos para o período de 2007-2013.

(9) Pursuant to Article 24 of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006, 0,25 % of the resources available for commitment from the Funds for the period 2007 to 2013 shall be devoted to finance technical assistance at the initiative of the Commission; the indicative allocation by Member States should therefore be exclusive of the amount corresponding to technical assistance,

(9) Nos termos do artigo 24.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006, 0,25 % dos recursos disponíveis para autorização ao abrigo dos fundos para o período de 2007-2013 são consagrados à assistência técnica por iniciativa da Comissão; a afectação indicativa por Estado-Membro deve, pois, excluir o montante correspondente à assistência técnica,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Artigo 1.o

The indicative amounts by Member State of the commitment appropriations for the regions eligible for funding from the Structural Funds under the Regional competitiveness and employment objective as referred to in Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006, including the additional amounts fixed in Annex II to that Regulation, shall be as set out in Table 1 of Annex I.

Os montantes indicativos por Estado-Membro das dotações de autorização para as regiões elegíveis para financiamento pelos fundos estruturais a título do Objectivo da Competitividade Regional e do Emprego, nos termos do artigo 6.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006, incluindo os montantes adicionais fixados no anexo II do mesmo regulamento, são os apresentados no quadro 1 do anexo I.

The annual breakdown by Member State by year of the commitment appropriations referred to in the previous paragraph shall be as set out in Table 2 of Annex I.

A repartição anual por Estado-Membro das dotações de autorização referidas no parágrafo anterior é a apresentada no quadro 2 do anexo I.

Article 2

Artigo 2.o

The indicative amounts by Member State of the commitment appropriations for the transitional and specific support from the Structural Funds under the Regional competitiveness and employment objective as referred to in Article 8(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006, including the additional amounts fixed in Annex II to that Regulation, shall be as set out in Table 1 of Annex II.

Os montantes indicativos por Estado-Membro das dotações de autorização para o apoio transitório e específico pelos Fundos Estruturais a título do Objectivo da Competitividade Regional e do Emprego, nos termos do n.o 2 do artigo 8.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 1083/2006, incluindo os montantes adicionais fixados no anexo II do mesmo regulamento, são os apresentados no quadro 1 do anexo II.

The annual breakdown by Member State by year of the commitment appropriations referred to in the previous paragraph shall be as set out in Table 2 of Annex II.

A repartição anual por Estado-Membro das dotações de autorização referidas no parágrafo anterior é a apresentada no quadro 2 do anexo II.

This Decision is addressed to the Member States.

Os Estados-Membros são os destinatários da presente decisão.
