EUROPEISKA GEMENSKAPERNAS ADMINISTRATIVA KOMMISSION FÖR SOCIAL TRYGGHET FÖR MIGRERANDE ARBETARE HAR BESLUTAT FÖLJANDE

THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES ON SOCIAL SECURITY FOR MIGRANT WORKERS,

med beaktande av artikel 81 a i rådets förordning (EEG) nr 1408/71 av den 14 juni 1971, enligt vilken Administrativa kommissionen har som uppgift att handha samtliga administrativa frågor om tolkning av bestämmelserna i förordning (EEG) nr 1408/71 och senare förordningar,

Having regard to Article 81(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 1408/71 of 14 June 1971, under which it is made responsible for dealing with all administrative questions or matters of interpretation arising from the provisions of Regulation (EEC) No 1408/71 and subsequent Regulations,

med beaktande av artikel 17.7 och artikel 60.6 i förordning (EEG) nr 574/72 av den 21 mars 1972,

Having regard to Article 17(7) and Article 60(6) of Regulation (EEC) No 574/72,

med beaktande av rådets förordning (EG) nr 1103/97 av den 17 juni 1997 om vissa bestämmelser som har samband med införandet av euron,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 1103/97 of 17 June 1997 on certain provisions relating to the introduction of the euro,

med beaktande av rådets förordning (EG) nr 974/98 av den 3 maj 1998 om införande av euron,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 974/98 of 3 May 1998 on the introduction of the euro,

med beaktande av beslut nr 135, och

Having regard to Decision No 135,

av följande skäl:

Whereas the amounts referred to in Decision No 135, which are expressed in national currencies prior to the introduction of the euro, should be converted into euro;

De belopp som anges i beslut nr 135, som fastställts i nationella valutor före införandet av euron, skall omvandlas till euro.

Whereas the principal aim of Decision No 135 is to fix an identical threshold amount for all Member States, expressed in euro, which shall apply to all Member States, including those not participating in the euro,

Det huvudsakliga målet för beslut nr 135 är att för samtliga medlemsstater bestämma ett och samma tröskelvärde som skall fastställas i euro och tillämpas i samtliga medlemsstater, även i dem som inte deltar i euron.

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

HÄRIGENOM FÖRESKRIVS FÖLJANDE.

1. Paragraph 2(2) of Decision No 135 of 1 July 1987 shall be replaced by the following:

1. Punkt 2.2 i beslut nr 135 av den 1 juli 1987 skall ersättas med följande:

"2.2. the expected or actual cost of that benefit exceeds the flat-rate amount of EUR 500."

"2.2 Den troliga eller faktiska kostnaden för förmånen överstiger ett schablonbelopp om 500 euro."

2. This Decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities. It shall apply from 1 January 1999.

2. Detta beslut skall offentliggöras i Europeiska gemenskapernas officiella tidning. Det skall tillämpas från och med den 1 januari 1999.
