Tendo em conta o Tratado sobre o Funcionamento da União Europeia,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Tendo em conta o Regulamento (CE) n.o 1224/2009 do Conselho, de 20 de Novembro de 2009, que institui um regime comunitário de controlo a fim de assegurar o cumprimento das regras da Política Comum das Pescas [1], e, nomeadamente, o seu artigo 36.o, n.o 2,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009 of 20 November 2009 establishing a Community control system for ensuring compliance with the rules of the common fisheries policy [1], and in particular Article 36(2) thereof,

Considerando o seguinte:
|
Whereas:
|

(1) O Regulamento (CE) n.o 53/2010 do Conselho, de 14 de Janeiro de 2010, que fixa, para 2010, em relação a determinadas populações de peixes ou grupos de populações de peixes, as possibilidades de pesca aplicáveis nas águas da UE e, para os navios de pesca da UE, nas águas sujeitas a limitações das capturas [2], estabelece quotas para 2010.

(1) Council Regulation (EU) No 53/2010 of 14 January 2010 fixing for 2010 the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, applicable in EU waters and, for EU vessels, in waters where catch limitations are required [2], lays down quotas for 2010.

(2) De acordo com as informações recebidas pela Comissão, as capturas da unidade populacional mencionada no anexo do presente regulamento, efectuadas por navios que arvoram pavilhão ou estão registados no Estado-Membro nele referido, esgotaram a quota atribuída para 2010.
|
(2) According to the information received by the Commission, catches of the stock referred to in the Annex to this Regulation by vessels flying the flag of or registered in the Member State referred to therein have exhausted the quota allocated for 2010.

(3) É, por conseguinte, necessário proibir as actividades de pesca dessa unidade populacional,

(3) It is therefore necessary to prohibit fishing activities for that stock,

ADOPTOU O PRESENTE REGULAMENTO:

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Esgotamento da quota

Quota exhaustion
|
|
A quota de pesca atribuída para 2010 ao Estado-Membro referido no anexo do presente regulamento relativamente à unidade populacional nele mencionada é considerada esgotada na data indicada no mesmo anexo.

The fishing quota allocated to the Member State referred to in the Annex to this Regulation for the stock referred to therein for 2010 shall be deemed to be exhausted from the date set out in that Annex.

Prohibitions
|
|
As actividades de pesca da unidade populacional mencionada no anexo do presente regulamento por navios que arvoram pavilhão ou estão registados no Estado-Membro nele referido são proibidas a partir da data indicada no mesmo anexo. É proibido manter a bordo, recolocar, transbordar ou desembarcar capturas dessa unidade populacional efectuadas por esses navios após a data indicada.

Fishing activities for the stock referred to in the Annex to this Regulation by vessels flying the flag of or registered in the Member State referred to therein shall be prohibited from the date set out in that Annex. In particular it shall be prohibited to retain on board, relocate, tranship or land fish from that stock caught by those vessels after that date.

Entrada em vigor

O presente regulamento entra em vigor no dia seguinte ao da sua publicação no Jornal Oficial da União Europeia.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

O presente regulamento é obrigatório em todos os seus elementos e directamente aplicável em todos os Estados-Membros.
|
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
|
|
