LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,

visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,

visto il regolamento (CE) n. 881/2002 del Consiglio, del 27 maggio 2002, che impone specifiche misure restrittive nei confronti di determinate persone ed entità associate a Osama bin Laden, alla rete Al-Qaeda e ai Talibani e abroga il regolamento (CE) n. 467/2001 che vieta l’esportazione di talune merci e servizi in Afghanistan, inasprisce il divieto dei voli e estende il congelamento dei capitali e delle altre risorse finanziarie nei confronti dei Talibani dell’Afghanistan [1], in particolare l’articolo 7, paragrafo 1, primo trattino,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 881/2002 of 27 May 2002 imposing certain specific restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities associated with Usama bin Laden, the Al-Qaida network and the Taliban, and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 467/2001 prohibiting the export of certain goods and services to Afghanistan, strengthening the flight ban and extending the freeze of funds and other financial resources in respect of the Taliban of Afghanistan [1], and in particular the first indent of Article 7(1), thereof,

considerando quanto segue:

Whereas:

(1) Nell’allegato I del regolamento (CE) n. 881/2002 figura l’elenco delle persone, dei gruppi e delle entità a cui si applica il congelamento dei capitali e delle risorse economiche a norma del regolamento.

(1) Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 881/2002 lists the persons, groups and entities covered by the freezing of funds and economic resources under that Regulation.

(2) Il 2 agosto 2006 il Comitato per le sanzioni del Consiglio di sicurezza delle Nazioni Unite ha deciso di modificare l’elenco delle persone, dei gruppi e delle entità a cui si applica il congelamento dei capitali e delle risorse economiche. Occorre quindi modificare opportunamente l’allegato I.

(2) On 2 August 2006, the Sanctions Committee of the United Nations Security Council decided to amend the list of persons, groups and entities to whom the freezing of funds and economic resources should apply. Annex I should therefore be amended accordingly.

(3) Il presente regolamento deve entrare in vigore immediatamente per garantire l’efficacia delle misure ivi contemplate,

HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Articolo 1

Article 1

L’allegato I del regolamento (CE) n. 881/2002 è modificato conformemente all’allegato del presente regolamento.

Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 881/2002 is hereby amended as set out in the Annex to this Regulation.

Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il giorno successivo a quello della pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
