THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 152 in conjunction with the first sentence of the first subparagraph of Article 300(2) and the first paragraph of Article 300(3) thereof,
|

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission,
|
so zreteľom na návrh Komisie,
|

Having regard to the Opinion of the European Parliament [1],
|
so zreteľom na stanovisko Európskeho parlamentu [1],
|
|
Whereas:
|
keďže:
|
|
(1) Council Regulation (EEC) No 302/93 of 8 February 1993 on the establishment of a European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction [2], provides, in Article 13 thereof, that the Centre is to be open to the participation of non-Community countries which share the Community’s interests and those of its Member States in the Centre’s objectives and work.

(1) Nariadenie Rady (EHS) č. 302/93 z 8. februára 1993 o vytvorení Európskeho strediska pre monitorovanie drog a drogovej závislosti [2] vo svojom článku 13 ustanovuje, že stredisko má byť otvorené pre účasť tých krajín, ktoré nie sú členmi Spoločenstva, ale majú so Spoločenstvom a členskými štátmi spoločné záujmy v zmysle cieľov a práce strediska.

(2) The Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Turkey on the participation of the Republic of Turkey in the work of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction was signed on behalf of the Community on 30 October 2007 [3], subject to its conclusion.
|
(2) Dohoda medzi Európskym spoločenstvom a Tureckou republikou o účasti Tureckej republiky na práci Európskeho monitorovacieho centra pre drogy a drogovú závislosť bola podpísaná v mene Spoločenstva 30. októbra 2007 [3] s výhradou jej uzavretia.

(3) The Agreement should be approved,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

The Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Turkey on the participation of the Republic of Turkey in the work of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction is hereby approved on behalf of the Community.
|
Týmto sa v mene Spoločenstva schvaľuje Dohoda medzi Európskym spoločenstvom a Tureckou republikou o účasti Tureckej republiky na práci Európskeho monitorovacieho centra pre drogy a drogovú závislosť.
