Having regard to Council Directive 92/51/EEC of 18 June 1992 on a second general system for the recognition of professional education and training to supplement Directive 89/48/EEC (1), as last amended by Commission Directive 95/43/EC (2), and in particular Article 15 thereof,

Whereas the government of the United Kingdom has made a reasoned request to remove three of its training courses from Annex C to the Directive;

Whereas the United Kingdom has altered its education and training course for medical laboratory scientific officer, with the result that this course now requires three years of higher education and thus comes under Council Directive 89/48/EEC (3); whereas, accordingly, the course of education and training for the profession of medical laboratory scientific officer should no longer be included in Annex C since holders of qualifications obtained under the former regulation and which are covered by Directive 92/51/EEC could, by virtue of Article 1 (a) of Directive 89/48/EEC, apply to be treated in the same way;

Whereas the profession of prosthetist is currently not regulated in the United Kingdom;

so zreteľom na smernicu Rady č. 92/51/EHS z 18. júna 1992 o druhom všeobecnom systéme uznávania odborného vzdelania a prípravy, ktorou sa dopĺňa smernica 89/48/EHS [1], naposledy zmenenú a doplnenú smernicou Komisie č. 94/38/EHS [2] a najmä jej článok 15,

Whereas the profession of probation officer is no longer regulated in the United Kingdom;

keďže vláda Veľkej Británie podala odôvodnenú žiadosť o odstránenie svojich troch študijných odborov z prílohy C k smernici;

Whereas the measures provided for by the present directive are in conformity with the opinion given by the Committee established by Article 15 of Council Directive 92/51/EEC,

keďže Veľká Británia zmenila svoj študijný odbor a odbornú prípravu pre lekárskych vedeckých laborantov tak, že tento odbor teraz vyžaduje tri roky vysokoškolského vzdelania a spadá pod smernicu č. 89/48/EHS [3]; keďže v súlade s tým, študijný odbor a odborná príprava na povolanie lekárskeho vedeckého laboranta už nemá byť zahrnutá v prílohe C, pretože držitelia kvalifikácií získaných podľa bývalého nariadenia, ktoré sú pokryté smernicou č. 92/51/EHS, by mohli na základe článku 1 písm. a) smernice 89/48/EHS požiadať o to, aby sa s nimi zaobchádzalo rovnakým spôsobom;

HAS ADOPTED THIS DIRECTIVE:

keďže povolanie protetík vo Veľkej Británii nie je v súčasnosti regulované;

keďže povolanie sociálneho kurátora vo Veľkej Británii už nie je regulované;

keďže opatrenia uvedené v tejto smernici sú v súlade s názorom daným výborom, zriadeným podľa článku 15 smernice Rady č. 92/51/EHS,

Article 1

PRIJALA TÚTO SMERNICU:

Annex C to Directive 92/51/EEC is hereby amended as shown in the Annex to this Directive.

Článok 1

Príloha C k smernici č. 92/51/EHS sa mení tak, ako je uvedené v prílohe k tejto smernici.

Article 2

1. Member States shall adopt the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary for them to comply with this Directive by 30 September 1997. They shall forthwith inform the Commission thereof.

1. Členské štáty prijmú zákony, iné právne predpisy a správne opatrenia, potrebné na dosiahnutie súladu s touto smernicou do 30. septembra 1997. Ihneď o tom budú informovať Komisiu.

When Member States adopt these measures, the latter shall include a reference to this Directive or be accompanied by such reference at the time of their official publication. The methods of making such a reference shall be laid down by the Member States.

Keď členské štáty prijmú tieto opatrenia, budú obsahovať odkaz na túto smernicu alebo budú sprevádzané takýmto odkazom pri ich úradnom uverejnení. Metodiku týchto odkazov ustanovia členské štáty.

2. Member States shall communicate to the Commission the texts of the main provisions of national law which they adopt in the field governed by this Directive.

2. Členské štáty oznámia Komisii znenie základných ustanovení vnútroštátneho práva, ktoré prijmú v oblasti upravenej touto smernicou.

Článok 3

Article 3

Táto smernica je adresovaná členským štátom.

This Directive is addressed to the Member States.

Článok 4

Táto smernica nadobúda účinnosť 20. deň nasledujúci po uverejnení v Úradnom vestníku Európskych spoločenstiev.

Article 4

This Directive shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
