Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,
|
Gelet op het Verdrag tot oprichting van de Europese Gemeenschap,
|

Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 of 20 March 2006 on the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for agricultural products and foodstuffs [1], and in particular the first subparagraph of Article 7(4) thereof,
|
Gelet op Verordening (EG) nr. 510/2006 van de Raad van 20 maart 2006 inzake de bescherming van geografische aanduidingen en oorsprongsbenamingen van landbouwproducten en levensmiddelen [1], en met name op artikel 7, lid 4, eerste alinea,
|

Whereas:

Overwegende hetgeen volgt:
|
|
(1) In accordance with the first subparagraph of Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 and Article 17(2) thereof, the application submitted by France to register the name "Banon" was published in the Official Journal of the European Union [2].
|
(1) Overeenkomstig artikel 6, lid 2, eerste alinea, van Verordening (EG) nr. 510/2006 en artikel 17, lid 2, van diezelfde verordening is de door Frankrijk ingediende aanvraag tot registratie van de benaming "Banon" bekendgemaakt in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie [2].

(2) As no objections within the meaning of Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 were received by the Commission, this name should be registered,
|
(2) Aangezien bij de Commissie geen bezwaren zijn ingediend overeenkomstig artikel 7 van Verordening (EG) nr. 510/2006, wordt deze benaming ingeschreven,
|
|
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
|
HEEFT DE VOLGENDE VERORDENING VASTGESTELD:
|

Article 1

Artikel 1

The name contained in the Annex to this Regulation shall be registered.
|
De in de bijlage bij deze verordening vermelde benaming wordt ingeschreven.
|
|
Article 2

Artikel 2
|
|
This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
|
Deze verordening treedt in werking op de twintigste dag volgende op die van haar bekendmaking in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie.
|
|
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
|
Deze verordening is verbindend in al haar onderdelen en is rechtstreeks toepasselijk in elke lidstaat.
|
|
