THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

tekintettel az Európai Unió működéséről szóló szerződésre,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 of 20 March 2006 on the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for agricultural products and foodstuffs [1], and in particular the first subparagraph of Article 7(4) thereof,

tekintettel a mezőgazdasági termékek és élelmiszerek földrajzi jelzéseinek és eredetmegjelöléseinek oltalmáról szóló, 2006. március 20-i 510/2006/EK tanácsi rendeletre [1] és különösen annak 7. cikke (4) bekezdésének első albekezdésére,

Whereas:

mivel:

(1) Pursuant to the first subparagraph of Article 9(1) of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 and in accordance with Article 17(2) thereof, the Commission has examined Italy’s application for the approval of an amendment to the specification for the protected geographical indication "Castagna del Monte Amiata" registered under Commission Regulation (EC) No 2400/96 [2], as amended by Regulation (EC) No 1904/2000 [3].

(1) Az 510/2006/EK rendelet 9. cikke (1) bekezdésének első albekezdésével összhangban és 17. cikkének (2) bekezdése alapján a Bizottság megvizsgálta Olaszország kérelmét, amely az 1904/2000/EK rendelettel [2] módosított 2400/96/EK bizottsági rendelet [3] alapján bejegyzett "Castagna del Monte Amiata" oltalom alatt álló földrajzi jelzéshez kapcsolódó termékleírás módosításának jóváhagyására irányul.

(2) Since the amendment in question is not minor within the meaning of Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006, the Commission published the amendment application in the Official Journal of the European Union [4] as required by the first subparagraph of Article 6(2) of that Regulation. As no statement of objection within the meaning of Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 has been sent to the Commission, the amendment should be approved,

(2) Az 510/2006/EK rendelet 9. cikke értelmében a szóban forgó módosítás nem tekinthető kisebb jelentőségűnek, ezért a Bizottság az említett rendelet 6. cikke (2) bekezdésének első albekezdése alapján a módosítás iránti kérelmet közzétette az Európai Unió Hivatalos Lapjában [4]. A Bizottsághoz nem érkezett az 510/2006/EK rendelet 7. cikke szerinti kifogás, ezért a módosítást jóvá kell hagyni,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

ELFOGADTA EZT A RENDELETET:

Article 1

1. cikk

The amendment to the specification published in the Official Journal of the European Union regarding the name in the Annex to this Regulation is hereby approved.

Az e rendelet mellékletében szereplő elnevezéshez kapcsolódó termékleírásnak az Európai Unió Hivatalos Lapjában közétett módosítása jóváhagyásra kerül.

Article 2

2. cikk

This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Ez a rendelet az Európai Unió Hivatalos Lapjában való kihirdetését követő huszadik napon lép hatályba.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.

Ez a rendelet teljes egészében kötelező és közvetlenül alkalmazandó valamennyi tagállamban.
