Pleas in law and main arguments
In support of the action, the applicants rely on three pleas in law.

First plea in law, alleging that the Commission’s reply to the applicants’ legislative proposal and to the issues raised by the applicants in the citizens’ initiative ‘One of us’ is unsatisfactory as the Commission i) does not respond to the fact that the human embryo is a human being and ii) does not address obvious contradictions. |

Second plea in law, alleging violation of the democratic process as the Commission:

Third plea in law, alleging non-conformity of Regulation No 211/2011 with the Treaties. The applicants allege that:
