Commission Notice concerning the trade arrangements for agricultural products applicable from 1 January 2007

Interested parties are hereby informed that in view of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union from 1 January 2007, the Community rules on agricultural products will apply to the new Member States starting from this date.

Therefore, the arrangements for trade between Member States will apply to trade between the Community of 25 Member States and the new Member States and between the new Member States themselves in products subject to a common market organisation, without prejudice to possible transitional measures in connection with the new accessions.

Consequently, from 1 January 2007, import licences, export licences and advance fixing certificates may no longer be used in such trade.
